Terms of service
Last updated: October 2026
What Vaaku is
Vaaku is a subscription software service that helps restaurants track costs, margins, and operations through scheduled AI briefings and dashboards. These terms are the agreement between you (the restaurant operator) and TwoTwo ("we", "us"), the company behind Vaaku.
Your account
You need an account to use Vaaku. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. One account per tenant; invite your team with their own logins rather than sharing passwords. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the restaurant.
Plans, trials, and billing
Vaaku is billed per outlet per month: Starter (free), Pro, and Chain, as listed on the pricing page. Paid plans include a 14-day trial. Billing is handled by Stripe; the subscription renews monthly until you cancel from Settings → Billing. Refunds follow our refund policy: any charge refunded in full within 14 days.
Prices are in USD and exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise; where tax applies, Stripe collects it at checkout. If a payment fails, we'll retry and notify you; prolonged non-payment may pause paid features until billing is current.
Your data stays yours
Everything you put into Vaaku — menus, recipes, inventory, sales — remains yours. You grant us a license to process it solely to provide the service (run the agents, render your dashboards, sync your POS). We don't claim ownership, and we don't sell it. Our use of your data is described in the privacy policy.
AI-generated content is advisory, not gospel
Vaaku's agents produce analysis and recommendations from your data. They're good, but they're not infallible — models can misread ambiguous data, and briefings are no substitute for your judgment as an operator. Business decisions (pricing, purchasing, staffing) are yours. We're not liable for outcomes of decisions you make based on Vaaku's output.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- share your account outside your organization;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service;
- upload data you don't have the right to process;
- use Vaaku to break the law or interfere with other users.
We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, after a warning where practical.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, upstream provider issues (POS systems, payment processors, AI providers), or force majeure can cause downtime. POS syncs are best-effort: if your POS is unreachable, we'll retry and surface the gap rather than invent data.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Vaaku is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits from decisions made on our analysis.
Changes and termination
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; access continues through the end of the paid period. We can change these terms with 30 days' notice in-app or by email; continued use after that is acceptance. We may terminate for material breach with notice and a chance to cure.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware — we'll always try to work it out directly first.
